about me

I don't really know what to say, other than I've been writing since I was a kid. I grew up thinking I'd be a storyteller. Writing comics and scary stories. I got into acting as I was leaving high school, and spent a large chunk of my life as a stage actor in Chicago. Even then I generally described myself as a storyteller.

A few years ago, I started Out of Depth as a place where all the different creative ideas I had could live. It started with a podcast called Out of Depth Plays, where me and my actor friends played different Role Playing Games, and told cool stories. I'm very proud of that show, and spent a lot of time editing and sound designing it so it was a fun experience for the listener. My goal was for it to kind of sound like an improvised old time radio show, and I think I mostly achieved that.

During that time I got really excited about writing and creating stuff but I wanted a fun space on the internet to host it all. I wanted my own little digital garden where I can play and express myself the best way I know how - through my creativity in whatever form that may take. I hope you enjoy exploring my corner of the internet. I'm going to enjoy working on it.
